Hello!

My name is Nikolai Sorokin,

and I’m a Chicago based actor, singer, model, performer, and teaching artist! I received my BFA in Acting from North Central College, and have also studied multiple types of dance, vocal performance, and improvisation. When I am not performing, I am a performance, debate, and public speaking coach and director at the both the high school and collegiate level. I also teach as well as piano, voice, acting, and improv classes for all age levels in conjunction with the Paramount Theatre in Aurora. My creative work also includes a drag/burlesque persona, and I am always looking to try something new. Whether I’m on stage, on the screen, or in a classroom, I truly love making connections with people and, through those connections, continuing to grow and improve as a performer myself!

Beyond the stage, I love spending time outside hiking and biking. I enjoy drawing, painting, and, of course, playing the piano as well. I’ve been playing since before kindergarten!
