Hello!
My name is Nikolai Sorokin,
and I’m a Chicago based actor, singer, model, performer, and teaching artist! I received my BFA in Acting from North Central College, and have also studied multiple types of dance and vocal performance. When I am not performing, you can still find me just offstage directing and workshopping at the high school and collegiate level. I additionally teach piano, voice, acting, and improv classes for all age levels in conjunction with the Paramount Theatre in Aurora. My creative work also includes musical arrangement and composition, as well as a drag and burlesque persona, and training in traditional media art and graphic design too. I am always striving to the be a modern “renaissance man” in the arts, and I am always open to making connections and learning new skills!
Beyond the stage, I love spending time outside hiking, biking, and swimming. I also enjoy drawing, painting, calligraphy, fashion and styling, makeup, and, of course, playing the piano.
Take a look around, and let’s connect!
